I really wanted to try something new again not knowing what I'm signing to. This one solidified my conviction that painting straight lines on PC is just awful. If I ever were to make another interior I will stick with the art-nouveau style, which will narrow straight lines to the necessary minimum (and will fitt ponies more).
This was definitely an interesting learning experience, but I'm still not completely sure how the composition in the interior works. If any of you have any tips on how to improve at the interrior painting, feel free to share.
Thank you all for the continous support, even during my complete absence!
Yes, this was a long break, but I'm back again and eager to do some new stuff. If you asked about the commision, please contact me again...!

Also this artwork is beautiful
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO0OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Awesome!
Did you put the white double-doors above her back to reduce the contrast and draw attention to her face and hair?
It is as though the cage was only needed while the bird was molting. (which makes sense because during this period it was unable to fly)
You know, this could be an awesome 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
that's a good thing!
amazing detail!
We know from that one episode (Bird in the Hoof) that the bird is super intelligent, it doesn't make much sense that she would cage it in her own home.
I bet it can get in and out of there any time it wants...
The fact that the cage is a fashionable one doesn't make it any better, if anything that just makes it worse. It shows just how despicably superficial Celestia is. She has reduced the bird to a object to decorate her room with. This painting conveys to us that she only cares how pretty the bird looks, while the best interests of the bird are presumably of little concern to her.
Phoenixes can teleport
the cage is a decoration
Also, this isn't Harry Potter universe, and the bird never teleported in the MLP cartoon. So the bird can't teleport. You're just making it up. But even if it is able to teleport, that would mean the bird is in the cage by choice, which doesn't really make any sense. That's like if Twilight came to visit and Celestia asked her to enter a dog crate made of gold. Even if Twilight willfully entered the cage, that wouldn't make it okay, most viewers would probably consider it very strange. The only reason Twilight would do this if because she was too nervous to object to Celestia. (implying coercion)
I just checked the wikipedia page for Phoenix, and nowhere does it mention anything about teleportation powers. So it does not matter if Harry Potter gave a teleportation power to phoenixes. The power is made up. Only the rules of MLP universe matter. The pheonix can't teleport unless a later ep of MLP says it can, but even if that happens, that still wouldn't validate your excuse because you did not know actually know that the phoenix can teleport.
You have NO FREEDOM because you have NO TIME.
I'd totally hang this on the wall in my house if you had a print of it. Like, right at the entrance so it could be the first thing people see when they walk in. Not even kidding. This is amazing.
