Story of the bench by Devinian Story of the bench by Devinian
Lyra and bonbon sitting on a bench chilling out. Please enjoy guys and gals! Really wanted to finally upload something for ya'll so you won't forget about my existence hehe :)
One statement I have for everyone: Painting with a mouse is hard! I have started this forever ago but now I fell an urge to finish it now, though I was restricted to my wobbly mouse :)
Damn you bunny, why you so realistic?

I LOVE this, the photorealism of the scene, the great use of lighting, the background, everything!
In truth, it was FiMFiction that led me here, while I was in the middle of reading Background Pony, thanks for help feed my current addiction to Lyra!
This pic is just so Amazing!

amazing work, been using that one as a dual screen wallpaper, and someone just found the source.
it's just cute, and the composition is perfect on this format.
This is a fantastic picture and one of the best I have seen to date. Love
I might be biased there, because I absolutely adore art that portrays landscapes ;)
but this is just so well done composition and style wise and it has so many great details.

Everthing is just amazingly well placed. The bench and the tree in the foreground on the one side and the misty mountains and the distant city in the far background.
This creates a great depth in the picture, which is hold together well by the sunflower field, that reaches from back- to foreground
and the canopy of the tree.

The sharp outlines of the bench, the ponies and the tree in the foreground also helps to bring focus onto those elements in contrast to the gras and the mountains in the background.
I have no idea how you drew this amazingly detailed, but the flowers, the tree leaves, the bunny, the gras and everything else looks just gorgeous.

There's just so much to this picture, that you could look at it for hours and still find new little details,
even though I think, that there could also lie some improvement in some of these details,
for example, the leaf, that's probably supposed to be floating in the distance, but since it touches Lyra's hair, it's connected to the foreground,
which looks a bit odd.

Besides that, I think, that you should have left out the mill behind the sunflower field.
I don't know if it wouldn't have looked a bit empty, but the way it is, the viewers eye is drawn to it, since it is somewhat in the center, which is somewhat distracting.
That's just my opinion though and since I don't know how it would look without the mill, I can't be sure about that.

Aside from those little things you've created an amazingly beautiful picture :D

Thank you for taking time to write all of this. I have that advantage of seeing this without mill and somehow It felt dull there. Maybe its me, but I simply had to break that dullness there
