Amazing work. I don't usually fav drawings of OC the mane of the background ponies, but this is too good. So I created a file just for that. I saw a lot of works commissioned by this person.
Either way, this looks like an absolutely wonderful place to visit, and perhaps spend some time at. No wonder that Twilight and her travelling companion are so elated!

Tell me, what are the circumstances behind such a drawing ? :3
But the basic summary for this one is that as a princess, Twilight has been tasked with travelling across Equestria and discovering the land and it's wonders for herself (basically to help her grow/develop as a leader, give her some life experience outside her books and help her better understand the cultures and citizens of Equestria and why they fight so hard to protect it). There's more back story behind this, but in short Zephyr was tasked to go with her as a guard/escort, to help protect and guide her along the way.
You know what, I think the story fits the drawing quite well ^^ En entire saga
